Pre-orders & Expectations.

I love spending time in a record store, so typically I am not ordering a ton of LP’s online. I do, however, pre-order new LP’s that I think I may have a hard time finding in the wild when it’s released or there’s a bitchin’ variant I want. That said, I have a largely unfulfilled expectation that I will get said pre-order just before the release date. My logic is that if I am cool enough to go online and pre-order an LP, I should get it before the masses! This never happens. Usually the shipping notice hits my inbox a day or two before release and then a week or so later it arrives. Considering how insane our world can be, I am aware this is not a real issue, but damn it would be cool.

So, the highest of praises to local Record Label, The Flesner, who shipped my new Agriculture (if you’re in to awesome black metal by awesome people, check them out!) LP that is arriving today! Two days before it’s released. The Flesner gets it!
